Gary S. Becker
Gary S. Becker, the 1992 Nobel Laureate in economics, is best known for his seminal research on human capital theory. In addition, however, Becker has developed pioneering (and often controversial) work on the economics of discrimination, crime, marriage, divorce, and many other topics.
